I live here in and use Jupiter Inlet on a regular basis.Those dummys had to see that no boat including the locals were going out that day.We see this type of result every few months.But on a few occasions it is with fatal results!

I think that photo was taken the day we picked up Jason's new 27' Whaler in Jupiter.Marine weather radio was reporting 9-13 waves at the inlet. We wisely chose to go up the ICW rather than go outside. I must admit that I wanted to get a closer look at the inlet but considering the boat was new to us and its mechanicals systems unproven, Jason decided to steer clear and go up the ICW. The inlet at Port St Lucie (I think) was just as bad. We went out the following day and the rollers were about 6ft-maybe 8ft. Mark and I wanted to go surfing instead of fishing!
