Default a call out to Don @ Hermco

Don -

You used to have pix of a 20' Seafari done up, blue hull - can't find that on your website anymore -

Would love to see that again, any chance of posting it in here ?

I have a hankering for doing a blue hull / white bottom scheme - want to see that blue boat again.... though maybe I'll just go with a white bottom on my red boat

thanks

Bill

I could be wrong, but I think the one you are referring to was Potter's own Overnighter.

It was for sale on the site some time back. Click here.

Don probably still has a picture..

Big - nice ad - hadn't seen that one before - but not what I was talking about - but that helps

Rich -the Overnighter, as I recall, was a yellow hull, a variation of the 20' Sceptre

the one I was thinking about was a blue hulled 20' Seafari with an O/B mounted on a bracket.

thanks

Bill

He had two I think, an orange colored and a blue one, both had brackets.

I always liked the Blue hulls, just not a red fan in anything but that damn mustard yellow was ugly- love Fighting Lady Yellow though. Do the blue and with the white bottom that looks nice, although the blue boat in the add with the white stripe looks sharp as well.

Regarding blue hull boats ...
My other boat is a sailboat, with a blue hull, white deck.
Looks nice, but.....
Broke down in the bay & needed a tow (won't go there with that story). Anyway, called a friend to come give us a tow. It took him a long time to find us! Come to find out, our hull blended in with the water...so I decided that day, never to have another blue hull.
Just my 2 cents.

There is an old saying that blue hulls are bad luck, green hulls turn for the grassy shores of home ealry, and yellow hulls well are yellow. Dont you know I have one green hull and one yellow and as much as I like the looks of that Flag Blue I just wont go there.

I love the deep yellow myself, looks even better with a full white bottom!
