Turns out the power head is fine. The problem was the lower unit gear oil was bone dry, so the lower unit went (thank god). The seal was bad on the drain plug.
The reason why I originally thought it was the power head was because when this happened she was still in gear and thats why she didnt turn over and I thought the power head went.
I kind of figured it wasnt the power head since she only has about 300 hours on the motor and I meticulously maintain the engine.

Is the boat still available, what is the cruising speed and GPH used at that speed. Where can it be seen.

Yes, it's still available. She isnt a super fast boat, but probably does 38 wide open. I cruise at 28 or so.
I just ordered a new lower unit. I should have it in a couple of days then I will take her out for a cruise. She is located in Charleston, SC now. I had a lot of calls, but no one really comes to see her (maybe 2 people). I would keep her, but have a kid on the way and already have a 2007 28' Hydrosport and a restored 22' Eltro CC at my disposal on lifts on the Wando river ready to go.
