I took a look around this boat today. I wanted to see what my 1974 twin I/O looked like back in the day. This boat is a great example of a unique 23 model. The most expensive in its day. Original and in great shape....good luck with the sale.

I looked at this boat too, last fall before I bought my '75 Sceptre (what I really wanted). It looks good, redone transom, deck seemed very solid, newer power and drives, good trailer. I know that a bunch of the Cape Cod commercial bass and tuna guys are running I/Os, so that says something.

A "Tuna guy" friend of mine thinks I am crazy in the head for converting my I/O to an outboard bracket

I know I'd much rather have an I/O than an outboard on a bracket during the "end game" with a big bluefin tuna. And this year they're all gonna be big here on the cape . I can't imagine dealing with the fish running around a bracketed ob! Outboard on the transom, maybe.

not sure, dont hink so. it was either at millway in barnsatbale or northside marina on the cape last year, and its not listed there now at either. i did check it out 1.5 years ago, but never considered twin i/0's with small gas tank jst wanted to look at a classic example of the state of the art tuna mosquite fleet boat back when i was in diapers.
