My impression is that they are MORE desirable, and that's not because I have one. A few diehard fishermen may disagree, but I think there is a bigger market when you throw in "the family" boat market.

Where else are you advertising it?

Nice looking Sceptre! What was done in the refurb? Is the transom original?

Thanks,
Steve

Transom is original. When I bought the boat, I had it surveyed to determine if it was a good platform to repower and spend money on. There was no bottom paint and the boat was dry stored indoors for its whole life. The advice I received, and four years later, proven accurate, is that the transom is strong and that there is no real requirement to spend money on that until it displays the need. I would not have paid the money to hang a new fourstroke or have the hull awlgripped if the transom needed attention. There is no flex and the motor weighs over 600 lbs. I bought an exceptionally well maintained Sceptre in 2005 and think I have made it better. Like any 25 year old boat, I am sure there is moisture in some of the wood parts. but as of today,it does not appear to have any impact at all.

Thanks.

All of the responses seem to indicate the price is right. Thought I'd bump before putting it with a broker.

Last call before going to the broker.

Is your boat still available, if so where can it be seen?
Thanks, Lou
