Gheenoe in the dark is pretty sporty at full tilt boogie into a sandbar with a non connected kill lanyard.

Leland, Gheenoes are good for harassing Snook in. We have about 8 miles of mangrove shore on Cayo Costa and too many mangrove Islands in Pine Island Sound to count. Think about it.

If you do it right, you can hit an oyster bar instead of a sandbar, and not far from Terry's.

I harrass all fish as often as possible from Anglers inn matlacha in my gheenoe. Just 30 or so more years til I can retire down there. But when you do fly out of a gheenoe in the dark it's amazing the rev difference WOT in water vs air. 5 hp tohatsu in air turns at about 850,000 rpm when it's headed in your direction. That's a rough estimate. I don't have a tach.
