F&S Boatworks
Was digging around for some research on seacrafts and came across this site.
https://fsyachts.com/our-story They state their inspiration is from owning Seacrafts, particularly flybridge 23’. Anybody know these guys? |

I see the resemblance in the photos but have never heard of a 23' Flybridge.

Woah! Id be really curious to see how one of those rides! I think the 23 is referencing the typical 23 because photographed there on their website is definitely the 27' Seacraft Seamaster....

Supposedly a 23’ https://honolulu.craigslist.org/oah/...452085782.html Nevertheless thought it was pretty cool to find this manufacturer and I agree I’d love to see how they implemented it into their designs and how they ride. I love the idea of classic meets modern. |

They have been around for about 20 years. The founder owned a 23 Seacraft in the past. If my memory is correct, he also enlisted the help of Carl Mosley to adapt the Variable Deadrise design to their large fast sport fishing hull design.

Steve Matthews is "flyingtime" on the site and owns one of the original 28ft race hulls . . . he worked with Carl to design some of F+S's newer boats as Ed mentioned above. See the article link above. |

Yeah that’s a pretty good example of what happens to boats here. And that’s one of the nicer ones…. If they didn’t tag it as a SeaCraft I wouldn’t know from a distance. They redid the cabin into a flybridge, added a sponson on top rail, added a notched bracket for outboards. I’m betting flexpat and terry are reaching for a weight calculator.
F&S boats at least look to be inspired by Seacrafts. Loved the article BigShrimpin very interesting read. |
