Default engine swap

I just bought a 1975 20' sceptre with a 188 ford,I
want to put in a chevy v-8, what do I need to hook up to the outdrive?

I believe the Ford you have is a v-8 so you will not need to regear the outdrive. I also believe that your shifting plate is mounted on the transome shield so you will nopt need to relocate it. I think all you will need is a engine coupler and a bellhousing. I would find a gm bellhousing first and be sure the rear mount holes line up with the transome shield. It should be a easy swap.
