Default Decks

I was just wondering what the going rate was to replace the whole deck in the 23' CC? If anyone has had this done recently I would like to know what the cost was.

Thanks.

I am getting the deck replaced in mine up to the forward casting deck. I am hoping to get a quote from the guy in the next few days and will let you know what he says. I know the new deck will be made out of this wood that has a life time warranty against rot. It is supposed to be great stuff.

Had my deck redone this spring. There were soft areas on both sides of the console. Used a different method from what I've seen posted. I used a 2 1/2" hole saw to cut out sections (150 holes) of the deck skin, being careful to only cut thru the top skin. Made a tool out of a screw driver to scoop out the rotted balsa core( some of it was like mud). Drilled the holes close enough so that I could get out the balsa between the holes. Used 3/8" foam blocks for spacers between the top and bottom deck skins. Filled in the void between skins with 510 Multibond putty, putting the 2 1/2" deck plugs back in place. Covered the deck with one layer of biaxial cloth. Rolled on a coat of gel coat with non skid. Came out sweet, very solid-like walking on the sidewalk.I did the grunt work, the finish work was done by a pro.Total cost about $100 for material and $300 labor.
