Default Boat Transporting

I am buying a 36' houseboat located in Utah and need to move it down to FL. It is on a road worthy trailer. Does anyone out there know of a person or company that can help

I have used RAD TRANSPORT, Inc. 1020 Kent Street, Elkhart, In. 46514 Toll Free:1-800-528-0719 Fax:1-574-264-5665. My contact is Joe Ryder [email protected] .

In fact Joe is arranging to pick-up the 65 Moesly 19' bowrider next week in St. Louis. They put trailer and all on a flatbed. He'll give you a price in 24 hours and get right on it.

I'm also curious about transport pricing. Just looking for ballpark $ since I don't have anything to transport yet. I'm looking to step up to a 23' from my 20' but selection is limited out here in CA. There's more to look at on the east coast, especially Florida, but any idea how much to get it out here? I don't really have the time to trailer it myself.

In 2001, I paid $1.00/mile to ship my 23 (with trailer = 30' long) from Stuart, FL to Rochester, NY. Today, it's more like $1.40. In your case, Tampa to LA would run you around $3,500. It would probably be cheaper if a trailer didn't have to come with it.
