Default Paint Price

How much did you all pay to have your boat painted, and non skid. Our is a 1979 23 SeaCraft That is inside, outside, bottom,(paint) and everything else, with awlgrip? We just want a figure so we don't pay to much. Also how big and what kind of boat was it? If you want to tell me but not let anyone else know just send me a PM. Any info even if you just know about how much it should cost would be helpful.

All the prep work is done by HermCo. But he is sending it off for painting and non skid. The price the guy gave use to apply the painting and non skid, is way to much we think. Don also thinks it is high, but he says the guys very alot on every paint job they do for him. Thanks.

I got a quote of 2k just for the hull alone, prep ready. We get hosed here in the northeast. FL prices seem to be much lower.

Like Finster, I just paid $2,000 for an excellent Imron paint job on my 23 hull. This included applying VC-17 to the bottom. I did all the prep, they only to scuff, wipe down and spray.

I Had the hull interior and exterior rolled and tipped in Awlgrip and two tone non-skid on the cap. They did all the prep work, as I think they should because they are responsible for the finish product. The work cost $3000, which I thought was a great price and they did a great job.-PF

Hey Seamaster,

I have a professional restoring my 20'sc at this time and i will have the entire boat repainted at the same time, and i thought he he was very reasonable on his price. Somewhere between $500-$1000, and if i can recall the paint he is using is called Mobilethene, it's a two part poly-urethane, and he said it cost around $100/gal. for this stuff.

if you want to contact him, his name is David Goode, and his number is 561-798-3508. He is in the West Palm Beach area. His website is www.greatwhiteboatco.com. So far I'm please with his work and he keeps me up-to-date!

good luck!
