Rear jump seat opinions??
What do you guys think of this for the rear jump seats on my 20 I/O

I like it.
Are you planning on keeping the I/O? Have you considered just flip up type seat tops/ You would have seating plus better access to the transom at the corners. |

I am keeping the I/O, these hatches interest me as they will keep the bilge of the boat water tight whereas with flip up seats they will never seal and I tend to get silly with the washdown hose especially after a few Cold Coors Lights

In most of the rework Mako project's on CM those type box's are cut out of the boat.
You can't get to the transom easy, they are to short to lean your knee aginst and cause a trip hazzard. |

I agree w/ Warthog. What about adding a 14" cap on the transom on either side of the engine box and putting in hanging boxes. You can knee-up to the transom, your feet will go under the boxes and you can drop hatches into the floor to access the bilge
