Default 77 sceptre repower 23 ft

i have a i/o . engine is shot, outdrive is original. i need some advice on closing the outdrive hole and going to a bracket. fiberglass or alluminum?

Check out the Potter/Hermco bracket (www.hermco.net) made by Don Herman who's a moderator on this site. It has the most flotation of any bracket out there.

yes i am leaning that way,probally a single bracket.
