Hey Wags,
I'll try and check mine tomorrow, weather permitting. I believe that is the OEM though. Maybe someone else will chime in in the meantime.

I just pulled my 1974 tanks from 23CC and they are stamped 10/73 aaa fabricaters hialeah florida. I believe the tank to be orig to my boat.

The 55 gallon tank in my 74 Tsunami is also stamped with AAA fabricaters in Hialeah Florida.
It is the original tank.At least that's what the original owner told me.It had some surface pitting in it,and i was a little worried about it leaking,so i did a home made pressure test, and it seemed ok. I put 10 gallons of fuel in it about five months ago just so I could get the new engine and kicker motors set up,and so far so good. Hopefully, when I fill it in the spring, all will be well.

Thought so. my tank is full now.I haven't had aproblem with it but figured maybe I should pull it and pressure check.I also want more capacity. My boat is a 1973 cc, according to measurements its roughly 60 gallons.I could easily fit 100 gallons.

For what it is worth, I have been thruogh this twice. Top side of the tanks looked good but the bottom was very pitted under the "ruber" strips. Scary pitted. Well over half way through the metal. Replaced the tanks in both my 23' SeaCrafts.
