I splashed her Friday with my Dad and Brian of Island Outboards! It felt so good holding the wheel. Scuppers were perfect. We had 3 Grown men behind the livewell and no water coming in. The engine ran great. We do have to raise the engine up 2 holes, but that's no big deal. That 200 is going to be great power for her. We ran the boat about an hour and have about 9 left to break 'er in. A damn Thunderstorm cut our trip short, but that's Savannah in the summer. Johnny, has about 3 days worth of a punch list and I am picking the boat up from him on Wednesday or Thursday. The only thing I have to do is hook up the Stereo and Amp. I bought a JL 6 Channel. As we were driving back from Johnny's my dad looked at me and said, "didn't you tell me about a picture of your boat being 25 ft. underwater". I said yeah its somewhere on CSC. He replyed I think you should name her "FULL CIRCLE". I really like the name and will put some serious thought into that. What I loved more than anything about Friday was spending that quality time with my Dad. He is the one who always told me how great a Seacraft is and praised the Potter yr hulls. He also got me into residential restoration and homebuilding. I love to bring older things back to life. I do it hands on with construction and there is a great deal of pride in the final product with that. Johnny, has accomplished that with this boat. He has made my vision come to life. We plan on taking some friends out next weekend. I will post some numbers the.
