Hello CSC... question wasn't sure if anyone has had an experience in replacing the edges of the deck to the gunnel... the Lip that came up from the deck and tied into the gunnel was all rotted. I have since cut that out, Hind sight is 20/20 and looking back I should have kept it so that I could re-glass it in so I would the correct shape, but I didn't, so now I am looking for ideas as to how I should re-glass the deck into the gunnel. I have about a 2" gap from the edge of the deck to the gunnel... should I just cut 3" strips than overlap with 5" strips and than again with a 7" strip and just try to form them naturally... or is there perhaps something else I could do to get a cleaner look. Thank you for help and suggestions... Also in the pics there is still some old foam in there that I need to remove first before I glass... I'm not going to leave that in there.
