Default Trim Tab ??

Has anyone seen this type of trim tab with the extension part. seems like over kill
to me. I would like to cut that part off so I can install a boarding step/ladder.

Trolling motors were mounted there.

I'd check with lenco and see if they'll swap you some compatible tab plates for cheap. A lot less work. That design is about 10 years old. I'm not sure if they still supported.
