Default 40 Years of Bottom Paint

Had my boat dustless blasted today - removed 40 years of bottom paint. Very pleased with the result. Not to many hidden sins. Left with a nice profile.

Although I'm not located in the world of 'pock 'da cah in 'da yod..." I'd like a baseline too - also what media did they use ?

Caper - Have you run the boat without any bottom paint? and did you pickup any speed over the 40year chunk?

abl1111, process uses grit plus high pressure water - hence the "dustless" I'm not sure what grit was used, but it was very fine. Prices vary with geography.

Tim, Won't have a chance to run it without bottom paint - going right in to barrier coat and bottom paint.

Also interested in the cost of this, as I have ~40-years worth... and as of last year my 77 is now trailer'ed. I'm curious of the ballpark figure, can you please PM me? TIA!
