In all reality I would consider notching the transom and mounting a big single, 30” outboard if you want to go with an outboard. If I was doing a 25 I would do just that and mount a Suzuki 350 with the duo prop. That particular drive would be advantageous to the set up.

Good points all. If you want to put some numbers to it suggest my post of 9-24-16 about Estimating CG Shift (horizontally). Could save some time and money.
Bushwacker suggested some temporary weights as a trial.
