Default Spring, and not another boat in sight

This week the weather was very dream-like for New Jersey - 75 degrees, sunshine, and no rain clouds. This spring, I had a series of personal difficulties - including spinal surgery - so I was anxious to see how my back would be able to handle a ride on the Ciao Bella my 1972 Seafari. With trepidation, I launched in the Raritan River and did a 23 mile out and back loop into the bay. Very few other boaters out on a weekday afternoon, so the river was virtually deserted. No waiting at the ramp! Here is a view up and downriver. Best of all - my back did not protest. Thanks, Surgeons!
Smooth Seas and Following Winds to everyone this season!
