Just my 2¢ worth...

Only because that is what separates my 1970 20SF from the rest of the pack !
Since you left the air chases intact, don't glass in the vents either. They were there for a reason.

On the spray rails they were in bad shape a lot of the grain was eroded pretty deep and alot of chips or gouged. They have already been glassed over. The vents also have already been filled in. Figured with the outboard they were no longer needed.

Starting to fit the console so rigging tubes can get cut out. Also cap set back on so the rear bulkhead can be fabricated.

I got lucky. Josh replaced a floor in another 23 that the owner wanted raised and 1 level. Josh gave me the floor ( which was already cored with composite). It was only cored with 1/2 inch material so we added another 1/2 inch composite so in reality my floor is a bit over an inch thick but all composite. All the wood in this boat has been replaced with composite

The fresh water tank should be here tomorrow and foamed in. It is 25 gal of fresh water and will go right behind the tank. We are able to move the smaller console forward to help aid in keeping the weight distribution close. The keel has also been cut to allow the transducer to be installed on the boat centerline. Also I added pvc rigging tubes to make wiring and such easier
Looks like your cover will be like mine with the wiring coming thru it I was also able to turn up a 1 1/4 shedual 20 pvc pipe over the tank on each side for use of anything to the bilge . It’s come in handy sorry not the best pictures

I was thinking about that but decided to run the 2 tubes along the original trough. There are removable elbows so when I lift the hatch for the tank they could be pulled off and the tank can be removed. Don’t know why I was so worried about it with a 2 year old tank in the boat but oh well. Whoever ends up with this boat 40 years from now will have a semi easy tank removal lol.

Ken I had the original raceways to use as well but glad I added the other two. Ran my steering hoses and trim tab hoses in one side live well(3)and bilge (3)pumps in the other along with the cable for my transducers. Separate cables from whatever to terminal blockers inside the console. It’s surprising how many wires get run with speakers and all the various lights . Wish I had taken more time to run a better chase from under the console to each side near the front vent boxes ! There is some access but it’s very tight up that way. Looking at putting a 5gl. Fresh water tank under the front raised platform right now and adding the pump in the bilge with a 3 way valve to allow salt or freshwater washdown.

I see how you rigged that now. I think I will stay my way as I am making the back boxes removable. I can reach my rigging tubes from those holes most of my electric pumps will be near the transom.
