As holder of the "4 Boat Theory" copyright I thought it only fitting that I should explain it.
Boat #1: small skinny water fishing boat that can access places other boats can't i.e. small whaler Boat #2 medium range 20'er i.e the SC 20. Nice stable platform for bay and near shore fishing. Doesn't draft too much and economical to run. Your every day, after dinner type fishing boat. Boat #3 This one is my personal favorite. This is the rip ass, balls out hardcore offshore fishing machine i.e the all knowing, all powerfull SeaCraft 23! This boat is what you want for getting out at 2 a.m, running 60+ mile out to the canyons, loading up on tunas and other yummy critters at first light, then drinking beers and doing high five's for breakfast on the way back in. Boat #4 Least favorite in my opinion. This is the other boat that has a head in it for the ladies. Not much else I can say about this one. This theory can be extended to boat #5 need be or combined with boat #4. This boat could be simular to a Seavette or Donvi. Something to cruze in to the bars and restaurants. Preferabily with half naked or naked chicks up front. This is the 4 Boat Theory as I see it. And no I do not have 4 boats in that order, although I do have 4 boats. And I find this to be a practical guide line for the adult boating male. Cheers [ June 20, 2003, 10:40 AM: Message edited by: Finster ]
