Default Re: Any Luck Schipper?

I just sold my 20' C-Hawk today. I knew it was necessary if I were to the join the great ranks of Seacraft owners, but boy was that hard. Seeing someone drive off with the boat you've worked on and taken care of for 6 years, and thats it, its gone. It was really like losing your best friend. As the boats leaving your driveway, your thinking "take good care of my little girl".

Is it required to go through a period grieving before buying your next boat, of should you just go get it? They say the two best days of a boatowners life is the day he gets his boat, and the day he sells his boat, that was definetely not a best day.

I'm a 33 year old owner of a 20 c-hawk with a pilot house looking to sell/trade for a 23' seacraft. I'd love to get a restored one and slap a new 225 four stroke on it. I have a 300 lb commercial cod liscense and just moved from chatham to plymouth so I have to learn to fish out of Plymouth now. Until I get a seacraft I'll probably have to fish stellwagon in the shallows, I don't dare go much further with a 10 degree 20' runabout.
