Steve...one of the many "rides of shame" where I had hoped to be putting it on the hook for the season but engine troubles kept it coming back to the yard. Post up some pix of that boat of yours! I bet their work is kick a*s.

Strick...interesting you had the same issues...if I am unable to resolve it I'll be back looking into engines this winter. The Johnson is a yr 2000 and had very little hours on it.....before we cooked that cyl one afternoon. It just wants FUEL. I got it real cheap. I'll be keeping my eyes open if the tax man is good to me. I wont loose out either way.

I got to admit...Tim's bracket makes it easy to work on the engine while floating, drinking beer...and throwing tools
