Default A couple of painting/finishing questions

My 23 potter seacraft is moving along. We have glassed the deck in and it's totally stripped.

First - in which order would you finish the boat? I have seen some paint the hull first, then the inside, and i have seen some do the opposite. Is there any reason to do one or the other?

The deck needs some sanding and fairing, however the interior of the boat is original gel coat in very good shape and doesn't need alot of fairing and sanding. My next question is, where should we start with sand paper? Something like a 180 and move up to a 320? Do we need to go any higher to get a good finish on the interior?

Last - the hull is painted. We do need to fair out some dock rash and some paint blisters but otherwise the hull is almost useable it's in such good shape. We are going to paint it anway. Should we do the same with the hull and start with a 180 (or lower) and move up to a 320 or do we need to go higher?

Thanks for your help

-Mike
