Default Back on the Water

It's been a while since I've posted or even viewed the site. Bigshrimpin said that he thought I was "cured" I guess not. Sold the 25 Seafari a few months ago to a nice couple from the Ventura area. I just was not using it at all and it's not good to let a boat sit. I had not been out on my little 20 Sceptre since March. The best time to be on the water in the delta is in the Fall so I wanted to to do a few things to the boat before Prime time. Put down new non skid...this time went with brown instead of white. Also added a Power Pole Blade. What a handy little addition. Makes beaching a breeze!

Lisa and I took up a new hobby... Metal detecting. We are finding it very enjoyable. The best part is that the 20 Sceptre is a great tool for getting us to those hard to reach places only accessible by boat. We recently went to one of those places called Ski Beach and she out did me by finding two rings! All I came up with was bottle caps and a few coins. Ski Beach is one of those nice family oriented places to go. See Video Below:

It wasn't quite like that when we were there. A few pictures.
