Raytheon L750 question....

Hello guys-

Could you answer a question for me?

Recently I got a good deal on a new Raytheon L750 fishfinder with a transom mounted 'ducer. I installed it yesterday and all went well, I believe... but my depth display will not give me a reading as it sits on the trailer in my driveway. It flashes continously "0" and will not give me any sort of reading.

Does this sound like something that will go away after I splash the boat? I was wondering if you may have experienced this? Evrything else seems to work fine, but I cannot get a reading and it seems to me that maybe I won't until it hits the water....? I dunno, call me crazy.... [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
