Default Bracket results

A while back I posted questions about installing a bracket. http://forum.classicseacraft.com/sho...2&Number=15545 Well I just got my A&J bracket installed. The results are nothing. The stern of the boat doesn't sit down any more at rest than it did before, maybe a 1/2 inch. However I think that it did pick the bow up some. It seems like the boat sits perfectly level now. This bracket has the small floatation chamber. For testing purposes, I did fill the floatation chamber with water to the outside water line. The results then was it sat the stern down about another inch, and it then made the boat sit like I wanted it to. At this point I have thought of adding weight to the inside of the bracket, cut port holes in it, or just say p$ss on it and not worry about it. The platforms on the bracket do make for a good place to stand to take a leak.
