Default Info on 222 HILINER??

Hey guys, ive been a lurker on this site for years and also a member of thehulltruth etc etc. and have been looking for another rebuild project for myself. I have done a 22 north american (sea ox) conversion to pilot house boat and now am looking to do something a little more refined and sleek and fast. I had settled on a 20 seacraft but have recently had a change of heart when i stumbled upon a 222 hiliner which i believe was on this site some time ago as well as the hull truth.

I am looking for info on these boats. Does anyone know where the molds are now? I have seen the geoff devine website and there is some good info on there. However i find that most of the best info is word of mouth kind of info from guys who know the boats or were around when they were introduced. Im only a young buck and wasnt around for the inception of the boat in the early 70's. If anyone has any info on this hull or the origins, whose owned the molds, bad hull runs, etc... Id love to know as much as i can before i dive into this project. Thanks guys, sorry this isnt directly seacraft related. Thanks in advance.
