Default Just joined the family

Just thought I'd share my purchase with everyone on here, site was very informative during my looking for an SC20. Found my 1974 SeaCraft CC in S. Carolina (I'm in Va) and drove down this past Thursday to pick it up. So far I'm extremely happy with it, spent a 12 hour day today going through and cleaning hatches and replacing some hatch hinges and what not. Hull is solid. The engine is an Evinrude 200 not sure as to the year yet (probably going to repower next spring depending on condition of engine), runs great but according to prev owner when he replaced the lower unit a newer model one was put on, which has a different length shift shaft and this is not allowing it to go into reverse. He was told that it can be replaced or grinded down to fit but he ran out of funds to invest in the boat. Taking it to get that looked at and to get a general bill of health on the engine Monday. Boat, trailer, engine all for $3000.

Glad to join the family.
