Default use of kitty hair

Hey guys question for you all. I am working on a 20-foot 1978 Master Angler. Since it is too cold in NJ to work with fiberglass and the transom, I have been doing other things to keep myself busy.http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/t...h/DSCN3403.jpg There were many holes in the center console that I filled with kitty hair. My plan is to shoot the whole console with gelcoat when I am done. Even though wet sanding with 250 grit has the repair flush, I noticed there are minute holes(size of a pinhead)in the kitty hole part of the repair. Should I spray over these or should I use something else to fill in these minute holes first? Any help is much appreciated.
