Default Mounting Dome Radar angle?

Getting ready to install a radar dome on t-top, and there are pedestals ranging from 2-6" in height, with tilt angles of 0-6 degrees to compensate for boat angle at rest, on plane, etc.

Has anyone used one of these on a 23? What angle? Seems like folks get a 4-5 degree on other boats.

Best way to determine is to plunk boat in water, however its winter and in my backyard.I plan on using a piece of aluminum to bridge the t-top suports, space with nylon washers the screws topside and space off t-top under, and mount the dome to this piece of metal. Perhaps with a pedestal for another couple of inches, and some angle.

Am I overthinking this?
