Default Re: I Need A Shrink !

Getting a little worn out lately and I've been having to force myself to work. Also the elements are against me. The Bugs are out in full force...millions of little gnats and giant mosquito killers buzz the shop at night if I leave the doors open...but you got to have ventilation when doing glass work. I quit early tonight.

Another delima is my neighbors cotton wood tree. My grass looks like it got snowed on this weekend. It did not really matter for priming the boat. I put the giant tarps up and it kept most of the stuff off the boat However there is no way I'm going to be able to paint until this Bleeping tree sheds it's cotton...and I wanted to paint the bottom of the hull next weekend.

Here is the culprit:

The mold for the cooler/fish box has been Gel coated and is ready to be glassed

I started to make the mold for the live well that will go into the other seat box. It's 25 inches long and 15 inches deep...not big by any standards but it will do for keeping Bull heads and perch alive. I can probably put 1/2 scoop anchovies in it but that's about it. I guess I can always strap a portable one on the swim platform if I go tuna fishing.

The gray primer I applied on Saturday helped reveal some small spider cracks in three areas so we ground those out and applied quick fair. Right now I'm waiting for that to dry so I can sand it down and put two more coats of primer on the hull.
