Default shes coming home

After having My 25 for about a year and paying for storage at a local boat yard , and the fact that I just wasnt getting a whole lot done in the fixing her up department, I decided it was time to build a pole barn in the back yard and bring her home, I had a 10x20 storage shed in the only good spot there is in the back to build a shop big enough to hold the boat, so I had to move it first. I dug into the hilside behind the storage building and built a crosstie wall, then with a come-along and some sweat I spun the building around 90* and moved it into its new place. Then on to a pad for the shop, I moved another few tons of good ole georgia red clay , built some more cross tie wall , spread 18 tons of crush n run gravel, then I had a nice 30x 26 pad with a drive way along side the house . now its was time to begin construction.
I put up 8 post 11' high, bolted 2x6 headers around the top and built some 26' wide trusses , I finished raising the last truss this evening and will have metal roofing this weekend to top her off, it just going to be open sided at first, when I can afford more metal I plan on closeing it in and eventually pouring a slab.
My friends and room mate all think ive gone nuts , since I quit smoking back on dec 25th Ive decided to make a major life change ,Ive decided to eat healthy and get in shape.
so instead of joining a gym I went to work every eve on this project, Ive done all this work by My self and
by hand, Yes ; all by hand
with a shovel, rake , wheelbarrow and hammer , Ive lost 15lbs in the last 2 months and feel great! Im tired but ,I think it gonna be nice to have the boat in the back yard so i can work on her every night.
heres a few photos of the project
