Default Advice needed on painting hull

Okay guys, I have spent since November preparing a 20' seacraft for new paint. I purchased awlgrip and plan to prime the topside and hull down to the waterline with awlgrip 545. I'll flow up with Snow White on the topside and seafoam below the run rail. I then plan on stripping below the waterline this fall and priming up to about 4-6 inches above what I previously painted. I'll paint the bottom to match the topside. I have a couple concerns. 1) will the primer and paint that I apply next fall stick to the lap over what I'm about to paint and 2) if I put my boat on stands to paint the bottom and follow awlgrip guidelines for cure time and over coating, how the heck do I paint the areas where the stands are? Your advice will be greatly appreciated.
