Which 23' SeaCrafts have the best layout?

Which 23' SC cc have the most space behind the leaning post? I have seen some potters whose transomes have been closed with maybe 2'-3' and others seem to have 3'-4' behind the leaning post to fight fish. Is this because when they do the rebuild they move the CC and leaning post forward for weight distribution or were the earlier designs just further back leaving just a little room? So which years SC cc are best laid out for fishing in regards to space and storage?
