check out my fuel line.
I feel stupid even asking this question,as I know that I really shouldn't have done this, fuel line like this, but the thread by Throw on "check out this rebuild" refreshed my concerns
It has to do with my fuel line that runs from the fuel tank to the filter, and Floscan sender and then on to the engine mounted filter. Quite often I find myself worrying about having this length of exposed rubber fuel line in the engine compartment,so close to the electricals and engine itself. It comes in and out of my thoughts a lot,and was one of those things I did just to try out the boat, and figured that I'd address it before I really started to permanantly use the boat. Well here it is 6 yrs later, and I still haven't done anything about it. I'm wondering if It should be covered or replaced for much of its length with a metal line. It was one of those things that I did just to try out the boat I know that at some point I'm going to have a clamped rubber connection somewhere on the engine and filter points, but I'm not comfortable with this amount of hose being exposed. The one good thing is that it's easy to check frequently,as its easily viewed, and easily accessible. It shows best about 18-20 seconds into this very short video..ANY THOUGHTS?? http://s2.photobucket.com/user/easy2...bac27.mp4.html
