Recommendation on bracket for single on a 23

In regards to my build post (Was my sea craft an I/O?), I am looking at single brackets for a 250/300 hp 4 stroke.

Of course floatation is an important consideration.

I just left the Miami boat show and looked at both Armstrong and Stainless Brackets. Both appear to be well made, but I have not heard much good or bad about either one.

Hermco gets a lot of press about their brackets and there are a couple of others on the web, with little or no feedback I can find. Hermco are fiberglass brackets.

Can folks who have redone 23 Center consoles please let me know their experience and recommendations.
