Default Saying goodbye tearfully

Well I'm saying goodbye to the 20' 1969 Seafari that I had on the for sale board.
Its now on its way from Massachusetts to California (Newport beach). I really wanted to do a minor restoration but not with my back. I'm glad someone could use it.
After placing it on craigslist and getting several of the certified check scams,I got a pm from a gentleman who sent me a PM on this site.He explained that although not a member he would follow the classic seacraft site quite often. He explained that Seacrafts and especially seafari's are very hard to find on the west coast.
We hit it off and I ended up selling him the boat.He overnighted me cash money, and arranged pickup with a boat transporter.I was lucky that my ex employer let me use their facility their equipment and also their workforce to get the boat on the boat transport trailer.

I have to say that this buyer was a great guy to deal with,I even think he's in the same business as our member Strick.(Equine vet).Maybe it's a California thing and people are just nicer there than the curmudgeons in New England (I'm one of the curmudgeons).

Here's a few pics of her being loaded for the trip west.
