Default Bennett Tab paint?

I've had Bennet tabs for years on my 'ole girl - 12x12's.

After a few years of unpainted SS, I decided to paint them to reduce the exposure of the add'l SS near my Bravo 3 ( boat is in the brine for 7 months ). I sanded them well and immediately used the Interlux Interprotect 2000 and then used Tri-lux anti fouling.

Needless to say, its never been ideal and finally it needs to be stripped and redone. The inter protect in spots has come off and this year it's not worth spot repairing.

Anybody have a better mouse trap ? I was thinking powder coating ? Or going with the Interprotect again ?
