Default Battery switch failure

Check your battery switches guys. Blue Seas 5511e has been in service 7 years or so. I noticed the "detent" had gone soft. It basically fell apart when I began removing cables. The plastic lugs for the small screws failed. This holds the unit together and there's no reason that I know of the end user would ever remove them. I sent an e-mail hoping it's covered under their warranty. We will see.......
