it's been leaked on the "non R" version, AKA mercury racing. now that the motor has proven it's reliability, mercury will have it in the recreational lineup, with 5 years warranty. the motor weighs the same as my current 2005 250 Verado, so that means you could hang the 400, run on regular Rec 90 fuel, another 150 HP with no penalty for increase in weight. my boat floats perfectly with the 250 now. this means we can run single 400 HP motors on a 23...
