My 76/77 23 had motor mount beds just like that. The beds were pieces of 2x6s with glass over the tops and a small wood riser/pad glassed on exactly like what is in your pics. The 2x6s were cut at a bevel to match the hull and did not touch the actual stringers. Unfortunately the 2x6s did not have any glass on the underside (the hollow area) and were waterlogged and rotten. I ripped it all out and replaced it with glassed Coosa. I made the beds lower so they let water drain off and made taller riser pads for the mounts. No way for the puddles to form outboard of the beds now.
