Default 23 Palm Beach

I know I know its a Classic SC website, but you guys know your shitake mushrooms !

My brother bought a 2006 Palm Beach a few years ago - it has a new fuel tank in 2017 - pre, my brother ( so the floor was pulled and a new 100 gallon tank with all new hoses, installed ).

Last year there was no fuel smell - this year a fuel smell in the bilge.

If we remove the fuel fill hose, the overfill hose and the fuel line to test - and all tests ok, is it safe to assume that the tank is leaking ?

Hard to believe a 2017 tank could leak but, for all I know the tank was re-bed in foam ( the boat is OEM made with foam, I believe ) and galvanic corrosion has done the dirty.

Thoughts and thx. Not a SC, but a poorly made clone. Boat rides great - they're just made really poorly.
