Default Batterys

I finally replaced those insurance policies. (3) 2 deep cell/starting and 1 starting battery under the console. I have an on-board dual pro charger mounted under the CC next to the batterys on my 18' which appeared to be shot too, but found out the charging bank lights can be out and it only be the batterys. Keeping the weight in the middle and everything dry has worked well, but what a pain to get to for the replacement.

You are correct about being stuck. While I was doing the job, I lost all power to my switches, not the motor. I followed all hot wires and found the right one and fixed it pronto. I don't know how many of you guys have ever done that electrical work, but seeing uncoated, corroded wiriing is not a good thing. Especially when you need those good connections like ignition switches, bildge pumps, ect.
