Cleaning up Marinium
Whats the best way to do it, steel wool, rubbing compound ??? also hand rail and T Top - also need a recommendation on a rubbibg compound for the gel coat which is in excellent condition.
In my search on the rail and T Top I keep hearing about Flitz, any idea what type stores carry it- marine or auto

Re: Cleaning up Marinium
Flitz can be found in marine stores. It works good on the stainless and aluminum, but if you are trying to bring the Marinium back to life it doesn't work.

Re: Cleaning up Marinium
I have tried just about everything on my original marinium hardware - buffing, polishing wheels, and dremel polishing with Flitz, MAAS, and anything else I could find.
Nothing I have found seems to make them shine if that is what you are trying to accomplish.

Re: Cleaning up Marinium
I had same question. Look at this post on hull truth. It worked for me.

Re: Cleaning up Marinium
When I was near the bow I just reached up with the buffer and hit a cleat with the cleaner wax, worked pretty good, Flitz didn't really do much their not smooth enough.
