Apparently there were only 7 ever built. You may be looking for awhile.

i understand there is- or was one with a diesel down in Pirates Cove- Manteo, NC recently. A friend of mine had one back in the 80's but had problems with the u-joints in the jackshaft. I never got to ride in it, but Im sure it rode well. My brother currently has the alby c/c with a jackshaft, 350 EFI and tops out over 40 knots. Alby apparently worked the u-joint problem out.good luck finding one-

THANKS FOR THE INFO.. I SHOULD HAVE PULLED THE TRIGGER LAST YEAR - I'VE LOOKED AT THE ALBY BUT WOULD PREFER TO STICK WITH THE ORIG SEA CRAFT. ANOTHER QUESTION-- ARE ALL OF THE I/B MODELS POCKET DRIVE? MAYBE I COULD CONVERT ONE TO A JACK SHAFT?

Hi,
I own one of the "7". It was originally built for Amway corp. It was a volvo diesel changed to a 350/290hp. Quite a bit of history to this boat. I might consider selling----50 mi. per hr. boat with 350. Rare boat/Rare price! Located Wilmington N.C.---Also have Sceptre with twin 140 i/o merc"s.----Also limited production! Located N.Y. both late 70's Potter hulls. A 20ft 89 with 150hp. merc is also available. Do i like seacraft's-----??????. Why else would Grady, Regulator,& who knows who else would copy the BEST HULL ever made!!!!!!

I took one in on trade with a volvo diesel, jackshaft and sterndrive. I still have the boat but I took the volvo out and made it straight inboard with a 454 Crusader. I didn't care for it with the diesel. It was too heavy. Only made about 16kts when light on fuel. Full of fuel it wouldn't hardly plane. The noise was deafening. Not a comfortable ride at all.

I guess that's why Amway had the diesel taken out and replaced it with the 350. I like the i/o being I operate in shallow water and still have a clear cockpit with the tilt console and t top attached to it. SEACRAFT ALWAYS LIVES UP TO IT'S REP!!!!!
