Re: Outrigger pully
Maybe Don's boat salvage Dixon. They have that one trailer full of all kinds of hardware.

Re: Outrigger pully
I'm not hunting that hard, I can use glass rings too but those pulleys worked great on my last setup.

Re: Outrigger pully
Could have used Chuck`s boat Friday. Called Capt. Bill Taylor on Black Dog and he said the Muttons were chewing hard on the inside reefs. Ran over the Southern bridge early to take a look. 3-5 + ..... Around 4 Dave calls from his Dad`s condo on Singer Isl. and says it `s laying down.
Got up to Juno at 5:30 and it was the hottest Mutton bite I`d ever lucked into. It was tough getting a bait down through the Bonita , but I managed 6 keepers and a couple of YTs in an hour. Broke off a leader on something really nice just at the the end. Followed the drift boat back in just on plane. I could see Capt Richie was runnin the boat , so that explained why they were late going in. He`s the best bottom fisherman I`ve ever fished with and he hates leaving a hot bite. Janet`s last words when I left were " the trash doesn`t go out until Tues. so find a place to clean your fish". Parked under the bridge and offered Rich a couple of Mutton for the use of their cutting board. He said take a look at the box. Now I was completely embarassed. They were loaded! Had fun feeding the Pelicans too. GFS |

Re: Outrigger pully
I sure hope they stay around, its hard to find anything wrong with any snapper- except one that has an EX in front
I'm pretty close to ready Sandy, I will swing and pick up the outriggers at I-95 & 714 and then head down - check in isn't till 4 so will get the boat in first - see ya

Re: Outrigger pully
I'll ditto what Capt. Chuck recommended, the Halocks. For less money you can find smaller stainless single pulleys at West marine for about $10 - $12 each. However the glass rings work well and do not tend to creep down nearly as bad as plain pulleys. Dave

Re: Outrigger pully
I just grabbed some already set up from West actually, they had the glass ring and stubber and hook all set up for $9 each and I did have to fuss with anything. You have to remember I will not use them as much as if I lived over there, although I may put them in to run around to the islands over here just to look cool
