Default Raising Deck 3\" on 20 MA in Ft LAuderdale

Can anybody give me any useful information reguarding possible candidates to do a deck replacement, raising deck 3" and changing drains to run out of transom with Rabuds. Will be doing transom and stringers at same time. Boat went through minor refit 2 1/2 years ago knowing that these repairs would have to be done in the future. Fairing, painwork, and all rerigging will be done myself. All console and wiring has been done for easy removal considering this future eminent work.

Any information on knowledgeable SeaCraft fans in the Ft Lauderdale area would be greatly appreciated. This work would be done myself, but due to time constraints and lack of free time the important parts will have to be done by a pro. I want my boat to be back in action with the least amount of downtime possible considering I use and fish it very regularly.

I am a local Captain spending lots of time in the Bahamas and don't have the time to do the work myself at the moment, so in order to stay fishing on the SeaCraft when home, I need to find some knowledgeable people. Any info will help...

dont know of anyone to do work but i was wondering if that is the original console on your boat. it looks much nicer than any ive seen on a MA. im currently in the process of replacing my transom and recoring my top cap so i was just curious where i could pick one of those consoles up before i begin work on my original console.

My port stern livewell goes almost all the way to the hull bottom. Very deep. Not sure how many gallons, I think it about 45. It fills from the bottom and spills out a screened out flow out of the side of the cap. It works real well for mullet cause they love to sit on the bottom and slurp up that fresh intake of water not wanting to jump out of the top everytime you open the lid. I have an LED light plumbed in to livewell also. The setup works well inshore, but I don't use it if it is rough offshore cause it puts a lot of weight back there on the transom sitting me a bit lower in the water. Offshore I use an above deck round livewell with a circulating pump with the tank sitting on a rubber mat. Inshore I use both wells with two different baits.

The console is the medium console sold by Birdsall Marine in Palm Beach. I got it 3 years ago for about $650.00, now it sells for $900.00. It is a great fit for the MA and leaves you with much more room on all around.

Why sure, this isa good un, 1970, Flag Blue hull, new deck, new transom, changed the engine well, all new wiring, new stringers, all new hardware, hanging a Yami 150 4 stroke, I'll wait till I'm done to post, this one is sweet, good looking boat, be about 2 more weeks, this hull was BAD, got another one in the wings, going to do an inclosed transom with Hermco bracket on that one.
