Default Craziest SeaCraft I have ever seen

So I was in the Keys and saw this boat for sale. I still cannot believe that someone put twin 300 Yamaha HPDI's on a 1979 23' cc. WOW! This thing must fly!!

Some of the 23's were rated for 500hp, but I never saw one with 600!

JFTR, properly rigged and tuned, he should exceed 70 mph. Something's not set up right.
I rigged a 23' with twin 2.4L 220hp Mercs back in '86 that could achieve 71 mph.
It made 63 mph out of the box, then jack-plates, some lower mods and prop tuning got it to 71. And they were both RH rotation!

That guy's got 35% more hp!

Capt Stacy in NC had one with big Mariners a long time ago that would scream. Sounded like jet engines when running at full speed.

Built for SPEED!
I agree that it should be North of the numbers quoted.

But that is one hell of a ride!

The owner before me had twin 0X 66 250s on my current boat. I don't remember the the numbers but chine walk on deceleration would scare you to death.
